Shark Week Activities for All Ages
I’ve got mixed feelings about Shark Week.
My boys LOVE this week that has become an annual celebration. Will you be catching any of it on the Discovery Channel starting July 11, 2021?
Sharks become a slight obsession in our family during this time. I try to look at it from an educational perspective. That’s probably the homeschool mom in me 😉
To be honest, it’s just not really my thing.
I try to muster up some enthusiasm for it to support my boys’ interests. But, I’d much rather be watching the Euros or some other soccer match.
I digress…
I’m just not into suspense or gore. And I’m still dealing with childhood trauma from Jaws. It didn’t help that I grew up near the shore and my brother would scream “Shark!” whenever I’d go out deep. He’s a funny guy, that one.
But, I’m all about being the fun mom. I WANT to share special moments and experiences with my boys. Therefore, I try to do what I can to make the most of our time together.
So, Shark Week Fun it is!
