Star Wars-Inspired Coloring Pages for Tons of Fun with Kids!
Do you have Star Wars fans in your family? My boys are obsessed with all things Star Wars! They love to read, play, and talk about the characters and plots in this series.
If you're looking for a fun way to keep your Star Wars fans busy or celebrate Star Wars Day, these Free Star Wars Coloring Pages will be a galactic hit!
Fun coloring activities are super easy and frugal ways to enjoy screen-free time. Plus, these types of free printable coloring pages are delightful ways to inspire creativity, as well as boost fine motor skills.
Over the years, I've printed SO many copies of these coloring pages of Star Wars themes! I always make sure to have a few extra available so I'm ready whenever my boys want to have galactic coloring fun.
Why My Rebel Force Loves These Star Wars-Inspired Coloring Pages
My boys frequently incorporate Star Wars themes into their play. They can turn any object into a lightsaber!
My younger boys like to role play characters from the movies from both the Dark Side and the Rebels. Darth Vader and the droids are big hits. It's interesting to watch how this type of imaginative play builds their empathy skills.
But, even active Rebels need quiet times to recharge and regroup from their adventures to another galaxy - especially toddlers and preschoolers!

These Star Wars-Inspired Coloring Pages are fantastic for homeschool brain breaks and anytime the boys need to just chill out. For some reason when the mood strikes, they think our home is like a bouncy house or gymnasium. And I prefer not to be a referee or spend my life doing repairs.
To be prepared to redirect that energy and enthusiasm, I plan ahead and print out several copies of these Star Wars-Inspired Coloring Pages which include two sizes (full and small). I find it easier to take out these printables then to stop everything and wait for my printer.
The boys sit and chat about all things Star Wars while they color with markers or paint with their Kwik Stix. They cut out the smaller sizes and glue to woodcraft sticks for use as story props and puppet shows.
Tip: Have a variety of fun color tools (like crayons, color pencils, and markers) to use with these free printable Star Wars worksheets.

Creative Ways to Enjoy These Stellar Coloring Activities
As with any coloring activity with children, I encourage you to gather your coloring tools prior to starting. My boys like using crayons, color pencils, markers, and Kwix Stix (tempera paint sticks).
Chat with your students about the different characters and themes in this pack. Have them select their favorite character to begin with or randomly pick.
Use the traditional colors associated with each character OR think outside the box and use your favorite colors. Add some patterns and textures to customize even more.
When your coloring worksheets are complete, glue on to construction paper or cardstock. Or add a border using washi tape.
Cut out the smaller sized characters. Use a glue stick and adhere to wood craft sticks for tons of imaginative play (like puppet shows and reenactments of favorite scenes).
