When my boys were learning to identify and write print letters of the alphabet, I used 3 fun activities to keep them engaged. These 3 steps can help your kids become confident with using the print alphabet. Demonstrate the steps so your students can feel more comfortable when attempting on their own:
- Hands-On Print Practice:
- Have your kids trace the print alphabet letters on paper with their fingers.
- Practice tracing the print letters in the air.
- Use materials like sand, shaving cream, or pudding to "write" in. My boys LOVED this activity!
- Paper:
