If you're looking for easy screen-free ways to keep kids busy this summer (and pretty much any time of the year), pool noodles are nifty little supplies to use.
These swimming tools are actually relatively affordable. My boys and I have found pool noodles for a dollar or so! And we love how them come in all different types of colors.
A few years ago, we took the plunge and got an above ground pool. Nothing fancy and not too big. But, it's provided my boys with hours of summer fun.
We stocked up on frugal supplies and grabbed some pool noodles. Well, as we starting preparing our pool for summer weather, I noticed that some of our pool noodles weren't fit for swimming. Instead of throwing them out, I decided that we'd have some pool noodle fun with craft and activities!
