Ready to dig a bit deeper into our Homeschool Mom Mindset Challenge: Making Affirmations Work for You?
Need to catch up? Find out more in the introduction to this challenge and STEP 1: What are Affirmations? + FREE Printable cards.
You now know what affirmations are and how can they help you cultivate a growth mindset. You also have the 24 free printable cards to use as is or for inspiration to create your own affirmations.
The next step in really achieving growth through affirmations is tracking your progress. When you’re making a change that you want to stick, it’s important to determine where you are now and what you are working towards. As you learn and practice your new positive skill, you’ll be able to see how far you’ve come and build upon that work.
Tracking your progress through self-assessment also helps if you start to get discouraged. When you’re working so hard on something so good, even the tiniest setbacks can throw you off course. You might be having a bad day or being bombarded with negative. Your self-assessment work will serve as a reality check as you continue on your path towards growth through affirmations.
Growth Through Affirmations is Possible!
You CAN use affirmations for improved well-being in your daily life. Some people experience instant improvement in their overall thinking, feeling, and behaving. For others, growth through affirmations can take a bit longer but is still just as worth it!
A few of the perks that I love about making affirmations work for you is that affirmations are:
- completely free
- in your control
- available whenever and wherever you need them
- focused on you and your growth
