Great Ways to Use This Scavenger Hunt Activity Sheet

Read books about the five senses. If you don't already have some at home you can search your local library, Thriftbooks (or other used books site), or Amazon.

Watch videos about the five senses with your kids. You can also find quite a few videos about different types of bugs, vegetation, plants, and more on YouTube.

Research examples of types of flowers and other plants, as well as other items on this scavenger hunt, that can be found in your geological area with your kids via the internet or your local library.

If you can, do your own sensory experiments at home so that you can experience using your five senses and how each one is different.

As your students work on this scavenger hunt printable, chat about each item they find. Encourage your kids to make their own observations and find extra items that may not be on the list.
