Oh, and you can easily tweak this DIY wand craft to use for other occasions or just because. Some fun ideas to try would be to make wands with different colors for fun days and holidays (like Easter, Halloween, and 4th of July), birthdays, and boredom busters.
To make this craft, here's a list of the recommended materials:
- Wooden Dowel
- Rainbow Ribbon
- Green Foam Sheets (2 different shades of green)
- Scissors
- Glue

How to Make This Shamrock Craft for Kids

Prepare the shamrocks
Draw a clover shape on the darker green foam. Draw a slightly smaller clover shape on the lighter green. Cut out both clovers.

Glue together shamrocks
Glue the smaller shamrock to the bigger one.

Add dowel rod
Glue the dowel to the back of the clovers. If you'd like to add reinforcement to the back of the wand, I suggest using tape or washi tape to secure.

Add ribbon
Glue the rainbow ribbon over the dowel, so that it hangs down on each side.
