Over the years, we've had such good time making and enjoy St. Patrick's Day poems, cards, crafts, and activities. This year, I wanted a clever way to help my boys boost reading AND have some simple St. Patrick's Day fun!

Learn All About These St. Patrick's Day Bookmarks
This free printable set of St. Patrick's Day bookmarks includes five styles on one printable page.
All of the bookmarks are designed for coloring fun and are in black-and-white.
Each bookmark has St. Patrick's Day themes and positive reading messages, like:
- Finding a good book is pure gold (with St. Patrick's Day gnome, four-leaf clovers, rainbow, gold coin, stars, and balloon)

Creative Ways to Make and Use These Printable Bookmarks
I strongly suggest that you print these bookmarks on white cardstock for increased durability. Also, you can laminate the bookmarks after your child is done coloring and customizing.
I used glitter gel pens to complete my bookmarks. I love how shimmery it makes the the St. Patrick's Day cuties look! My boys prefer fine-tip markers 😉
Your students may want to use other coloring tools, like color pencils, crayons, and fine-tip markers.
One way that I like to reinforce these bookmarks is to use washi tape on the backs. This step strengthens the bookmark, as well as adds a fun pattern or texture (like glitter washi tape).
Another idea to take your bookmark to the next level is to punch a hole in the top of the bookmark and add a ribbon or piece of colored twine or yarn. Green, gold or rainbow ribbon would look amazing!
