Cool Ways to Easily Encourage Creativity & More

I'm always on the hunt for new ways to get my boys engaged in fun projects and activities.

My boys are naturally curious and eager individuals so it makes sense to find things that they can use and explore with their hands.

But, like many kids, my boys also love their screen time. Sometimes, a little more than mama likes 😉

So, I plan and prepare a variety of ways to keep them busy (and off those screens!).

My boys ripped into this WunderClay T-Rex Jurassic Beast kit. Smiley led the build while Bear and Xman oohed and aahed.

Such a fantastic project for teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation (and, of course, creativity)!

Why My Boys Love Allessimo Puzzles

Allessimo Puzzles are kits that come with all that your kids need for creative, hands-on fun. My boys prefer having all materials at the ready. They don't like to waste a second when it comes to cool projects like these 3-D puzzles 😉

This T-Rex kit is part of Alessimo Puzzle's WunderClay series. It's a combination of a wood skeleton that your kids put together and a super light clay body.

The WunderClay is super easy to work with and lets your kids customize their build. My boys changed up their T-Rex several times as they played with their new creation.

Here's a step-by-step breakdown of how simple it was for my boys to work on this project on their own. A Flashcard is included with a QR code leading to a video that provides a helpful tutorial:

My boys simply opened the kit and took out the pieces.
They worked together on punching out the sturdy wood parts.
Once all the wood parts were ready, my boys assembled their build by starting at 1 and working up.
The younger boys found and handed pieces to Smiley. Great practice with collaboration and communication!
Upon completion of their dinosaur, the boy prepped the WunderClay with just a bit of kneading. This material is lightweight and easy to mold.
Again, the boys worked like an assembly line as they applied the Wunder Clay.
As the boys worked, they chatted about how to customize their T-Rex. They tried out different suggestions to see what all agreed on looking best.
All three of my younger boys agreed that the coolest part of their T-Rex is the realistic-looking eyes!

My boys also enjoyed these Tiger and Lion Create+Paint Kits. After building and painting these creatures, the boys put on quite a show featuring a battle of T-Rex vs. Tiger vs. Lion.
