How March Brain Breaks Can Help You Rock Your Homeschool

Learning new skills and concepts can be challenging. Your kids benefit from taking breaks from sustained learning periods. Just a few minutes of performing a relaxing activity can do a world of good!

Homeschool fun activities, like these March Brain Breaks, have helped my boys:

  • Increase attention span
  • Improve memory retention
  • Increase cooperation
  • Better complete assigned tasks
  • Become motivated to start work
  • Learn to work for a specific amount of time for a fun activity reward
  • Work on fine and gross motor skills
  • Collaborate on special projects

I've found that brain breaks help me, too! Homeschooling five boys (preschool through high school) can sometimes feel like a whirlwind. Brain breaks help us all slow down, regroup, and connect.

If you worry that taking homeschool brain breaks might lead to mischief and mayhem with no work getting done, no worries!

I encourage you to set effective rules and expectations for homeschool fun. These expectations will give you a degree of control over the fun as you open your homeschool to new adventures.
