For the past few years, my boys and I have been having the best times during the holidays with our Christmas Fun Around the World adventures.
Each fun unit study has made it so easy to relax and enjoy the holidays for what we like to call "Christmas homeschool". We're discovering so many new things about how different countries and cultures celebrate the holidays - and we plan on expanding that learning fun to year-round studies (more information coming soon!).
One of our favorite Christmas Fun Around the World studies has been Las Posadas (Mexico). As I was planning and prepping for our upcoming Christmas homeschool season, I realized that I wanted to add some activities for younger kids - like these color by number pages 🪅

Did you know that there are a lot of benefits from working on color by number activities? Your kids get so much out of them, like:
- Creativity boost
- Improving muscle strength in hands
- Enjoying low-stress creative activities
- Completing work and feeling good about it
To reap all of those benefits, I recommend that you:
- Gather all of your coloring tools (like crayons, markers, color pencils, etc.) and make them available to your students.
- Hang up each of the color by number printable pages after your kids have completed them for all to look at and admire.
- If you have enough time, make (or buy) some Las Posadas treats. A yummy snack can be a brilliant way to take a break in between coloring activities.
