Frugal Craft for Fun with Fish
Will you be reading the Dr. Seuss classic, One fish two fish red fish blue fish) with your students and want a frugal way to extend the learning? Or maybe you're getting ready for a fun Dr. Seuss Day or Read Across America celebration? Perhaps you'd like a creative way to help your kids enjoy a hands-on activity for Letter of the Week featuring "Ff"?
Well, this fish handprint craft is an affordable and easy way to do all of that and more!
The fish theme was a top ten pick in our homechool when my boys were little. We had a blast learning all about fish as part of our homeschool preschool fun, simple science, and Dr. Seuss celebrations.
To really get my boys engaged in our activities, I always like to include hands-on learning opportunities, as well as crafts. By including these things, I found that my boys were much better able to learn and remember concepts.
This fish handprint craft was such a big hit - and I hope your kids enjoy it, too! We made these fish paper crafts to use as puppets for my boys while I read aloud books featuring fish (like The Rainbow Fish). So many wonderful memories!
