Donut You Love Punny Valentine's Day Cards!
(Okay, I cringed a bit when I type that ^^^ but my boys thought it was hysterical 😂)
Valentine's Day with five boys can be interesting. So, I try to find fun ways to get them at least a bit excited about the holiday 😉
Puns are a big deal in our home (and homeschool). This type of fun word play makes it easy to break the tension, practice vocabulary, and relax.
We can trace our love of all things punny to one man - Carl Azuz. The boys and I have followed along his news adventures for years. We've been thrilled to watch him again on The World from A to Z as part of our homeschool news during morning time.
As Valentine's Day approaches, I've been thinking of silly ways to celebrate with my boys. Bear (boy #4) has this thing about donuts. Neither of us know when or where our donut jokes and puns started. But, both of us love think of new play on words featuring donuts (and other sweet treats).
When I showed him these new printable donut Valentine's Day cards, he burst out laughing - and, of course, wanted to go get some donuts 🍩

It can be so much fun to go over these cards with your kids. Chat about the punny messages. And talk about which card might be best for each friend and family member.
I encourage you to use the back of your cards. You can write a special message, draw a picture, or attach a few stickers (with the backing still on so your friends can use).
