If you’re looking for quick and easy ways to have some dragonfly fun with kids, you’ll love this printable pack!
When my boys were younger, we had a dragonfly theme one summer. It all started during a nature walk when we spotted a beautiful dragonfly hovering near a bench that we were sitting on for a rest. The boys were so excited and started asking questions about dragonflies—how they fly, what they eat, and why they’re so colorful.
As soon as we got home, the older boys raced to get out as many insect books as they could find in our homeschool library. We all enjoyed learning more about these gorgeous creatures!
These printable dragonfly activities are an excellent way to extend that type of learning. Oh, and they’re also great for celebrating Dragonfly Day (second Sunday in June)! Creative Ideas for Using These Print-and-Go Activities
I recommend that you print out extra copies of these dragonfly printables (especially the coloring pages). A few easy ideas for enjoying these dragonfly freebies are:
