Making Your Valentine Scavenger Hunt Amazing
What You'll Need for This Valentine's Day Activity:
- White cardstock (regular paper works too, but cardstock holds up better to excited little hands!)
- Coloring supplies (mix it up with crayons, colored pencils, or markers)
- Clipboard if you want to get fancy
- Laminating supplies or dry erase sleeve if you'd like to use it again
Fun Ways to Use Your Scavenger Hunt:
- Start Early: Hand it out a few days before Valentine's Day and let kids keep track of what they find. They can even make tally marks when they spot something more than once - my kids get super excited about finding multiple hearts!
- Party Time: This is such a hit at Valentine's parties - kids love moving around and searching together. It's way better than having them sit still!
- Sneak in Some Learning: Got little ones working on their reading? Write the Valentine words on sticky notes or index cards and hide them around your space. They'll be having so much fun hunting that they won't even realize they're practicing reading!
- Make It Last: Want to use this Valentine's Day scavenger hunt with multiple kids or save it for next time? Pop it in a dry erase sleeve or laminate it. Works like a charm in classrooms or if you've got several kiddos who want to take turns!
