I created this pack of educational resources because I was looking for some cute (and free) coloring activities to enjoy with my younger boys. I wanted a variety of activities for them to choose from and customize. Plus, I knew that I wanted a mix of grade levels (in case you're using with a homeschool co-op or homeschooling multiple kids like us).

Oh, and I made these pages in black-and-white to keep it as frugal as possible (easier on your printer!).

Creative Ideas for Using These Coloring Activities with Kids

These printable coloring worksheets may look simple but you can totally take them to the next level by using these creative ideas (and whatever you think of - please be sure to share in the comments area at the bottom of this post!).

Of course, I recommend that you gather your coloring tools so you'll be all set for fun. My boys and I like to have crayons, sharpened color pencils (makes it easier to shade), and fine-tip markers. Oh, and you'll also want child safety scissors to use for the scissor skills page.

Then, I suggest that you go over the different activities in this coloring pack. You can either go in order, select which ones your students should work on first, or let them pick a favorite to begin with.

Make sure to remind your kids to put their name on the cover page (and every page if completing at different times).

The scissor skills page can also be used as a tracing activity. Or print out two copies of the worksheet and do both!

With the Dr. Seuss Coloring Fun pages, you can have your students cut out the pictures and glue on to wood craft sticks for cute puppets or creative play. Another idea is to cut out the pictures and create a Dr. Seuss collage or poster.

Older kids can write the names of each picture under the image or on the back of the pages.

For the Dr. Seuss Pictionary, you may want to work in pairs, small groups, or classroom. You can use a chalkboard or whiteboard for your drawing fun.

Encourage your children to draw their own Dr. Seuss characters, too!
