I have SO many things that I love about homeschooling. One of my favorite things is being able to take one theme (like pumpkins) and extending it into a whole bunch of fun learning activities!

Pumpkins are ideal for fall AND Halloween fun. My boys and I have had a blast going to a pumpkin patch, as well as growing our own pumpkins in our backyard. We've sprouted pumpkin seeds, planted the seedlings, and watched these fascinating plants grow. Then, the joy of seeing a pumpkin flower transform into a pumpkin!!

Our pumpkin adventures have always included reading, science, math, writing, and more. Pumpkins can be the topic of a brilliant unit study. And this inside a pumpkin craft is a delightful addition!
