Creative Ways to Use and Share Your Paper Flowers

Brainstorm with your kids how you can display and share their crafts. Think about how you can use for spring, summer, Mother's Day, teacher gifts, DIY gifts, and more. A few ideas include:

  • Turn your flower into a homemade card
  • Use as a wall or window decoration
  • Make several flowers and attache to string, ribbon, or yarn for a colorful banner
  • Place in a picture frame

You can also make several torn paper flowers on one page for a lovely bouquet. Add extras like a vase or bow.

Older students may want to make their flowers look more realistic. Use a variety of colors and sizes for the petals. Layer the paper pieces to create depth, or experiment with blending colors for a more natural effect. You can also try using green paper for leaves and stems to add more detail.
