If you’re looking for simple and screen-free activities for bringing some fun to your vacation, summer break, or beach themes, these free seashell printables are delightful. These activities make it easy to enjoy relax and get creative.
I created this set of coloring pages with seashell themes for my boys as part of our homeschool summer fun—and now I’m thrilled to share them with you!

Seashell Fun Can Be Simple and Super Cool!
Need some print-and-go ways to have some summer fun with your kids? Maybe you’re working on Letter S activities or have a beach theme to prepare for? Perhaps you’re being smart and collection printables to use when your students (and you) can use a break?
Well, I think you’re really going to be pleased with these free printable seashell coloring pages!
When my boys were younger, anything beach-related was an instant win. We spent many summer days collecting seashells. Also, we loved having fun in our backyard sandbox with shells. These coloring pages were fantastic ways to extend that fun.
Sometimes, I’d have a few pages to use as part of our homeschool morning time for a calming start to the day. Other times, I’d print out extra copies and put them on a clipboard for when we were homeschooling on-the-go.
These printable pages are also amazing for independent coloring, group settings like co-ops or summer camps, or even part of a library display or activity table.
What’s Included in This Free Coloring Pages Pack
This printable set includes 10 pages (plus terms of use page). In this pack, you’ll find:

- 6 pages with seashells on beach scenes, in a basket, and a seashell mandala
- 1 page with a variety of shells and starfish
If you’d like to use as part of a larger display or bulletin board, consider printing these pages on cardstock. This step is also perfect if you’d like your students to use watercolor paints. Oh, and you can laminate these pages and reuse with dry erase markers!

Creative Ideas for Using These Seashell Printables
Not exactly sure how to use these types of coloring activities with your children? No worries! Here are some things that you can try:
- Seashell Art Show: After your students complete their seashell coloring fun, they can cut out the seashells and glue on construction paper OR leave as-is. Display their work on walls, hallways, bulletin boards, door, or windows.
- Seashell Story Starters: Use your completed projects as inspiration for writing (or drawing) stories about the beach, creatures that live in shells, or other creative ideas.
- Calm-Down Corner Resources: Create your own calm-down corner and add these free printable coloring activities. Beach themes are often soothing so these seashell ones can be wonderful additions.
- Parts of a Unit Study: Include seashell themes in your ocean unit study. These pages are easy activities to complement books and videos.
