My Love of All Things Winnie the Pooh
Winnie the Pooh has always been a family favorite!
One of my first stuffed animals (and very dear friends) was a soft and cuddly Winnie the Pooh.
I remember rocking in my little rocking chair, snuggling my Pooh Bear and "reading" my books (far before I was actually able to read).
Although I no longer have that precious bear, I do still have my rocking chair that my boys enjoy to this day.
Over the years, my five boys and I have shared precious moments reading these stories written by A.A. Milne.
Characters like Christopher Robin, Piglet, Rabbit, Eeyore, Owl, Kanga, Roo, and, of course, Tigger, are like dear friends who we visit often.
As part of our quest to include more homeschool fun days in our learning adventures, my boys and I are excited to celebrate Winnie the Pooh Day this January 18. This special day coincides with the celebration of the birth of A.A. Milne on January 11, 1882.
