Easy Hands-On Harry Potter Fun for Kids
It’s no secret that my boys and I are total Potterheads.
This magical wizard series had my two older boys and me under its spell as soon as we read all of the books.
Now that I’m revisiting this series using Waldock’s Wizards and Wands year-long unit study with my three younger boys, I’ve once again become transfixed. And it’s thrilling to be under this enchantment with all of my boys 🙂
I decided to make these Harry Potter Toilet Paper Roll figures for my younger boys to use during our reading time. The boys love using our Star Wars Toilet Paper Roll figures for all sorts of fun so I figured why not?!?
They love having these cute figures to act out scenes and keep the learning fun going way beyond this special time.
Awesome Ways to Enjoy Harry Potter Toilet Paper Roll Figures for Creative Play
Your kids will have a blast with these figures that are so easy to make for use during your read-aloud time. Here are a few other cool ideas to use these frugal activities:
- Harry Potter Bowling: Set up the figures like a bowling alley. Use a soft ball to knock down!
- Instead of gluing onto empty toilet paper rolls, glue these figures onto woodcraft sticks.
- Cut out the characters and glue onto poster board or cardstock to recreate a favorite scene.
- Nerf gun targets (credit: Smiley, my 11-year-old)
- Scavenger Hunt: Hide these toilet paper roll figures in one room, your home, or outdoors for a creative scavenger hunt
- Party favors: Add a few figures to your Harry Potter gift bags for special treats.
