What You’ll Need for This Hot Chocolate Craft

You’ll only need a few materials to make this cute craft. Once you have these supplies gathered, you’ll be all set for hands-on fun.

  • Hot chocolate mug template (free instant download)
  • Construction paper (brown, white, and any other colors you’d like for decorations for the mug)
  • Glue stick 
  • Scissors

How to Make Your Hot Cocoa Craft

Print the Template.

Start by printing out the hot chocolate mug craft templates for the craft.

Tear the Paper and Make the Hot Chocolate.

Tear small pieces of construction paper: Brown for the hot chocolate, White for marshmallows, and Any color(s) of your choice for the mug. Glue the brown torn paper inside the mug section of the template to look like hot chocolate.

Decorate the Mug and Add Marshmallows.

Glue the colored torn paper around the outside of the mug. Glue the white torn pieces on top of the brown section to represent floating marshmallows.
Optional: Once everything is glued and dried, carefully cut out the mug along the template outline.
