This Frugal Craft Easily Boosts Learning Fun

Are you getting ready for an Under the Sea or Oceans Unit Study? Maybe you're working on letter of the week activities and need a creative letter "C" craft? Perhaps you're reading a book or watching a movie that features a cute crab character?

This toilet paper roll crab craft is terrific for all of those things and many more!

When my boy were younger, we had a blast with letter of the week activities. I found it helpful to have these types of themes to guide our homeschool toddler, preschool, and Kindergarten times. I loved putting together plans for books, crafts, games, and other fun activities all based on a letter of the alphabet.

The letter "C" was one of our favorite weeks. I would pick a theme or two for each day. For example, on Monday, we might learn all about cars. Tuesday would be carrots and cucumbers. Wednesday would be cars. And so on.

The boys always got a kick out of "C" is for crab. We have quite a few books (see below) that feature crabs. Plus, we'd make our crab handprint craft (part of our free printable ocean creatures handprint craft set) and this toilet paper roll crab craft!
