How to Easily Make This Popsicle Craft for Kids
- Draw a simple popsicle shape on the cardboard. You can use an old cereal box or part of a cardboard box. My boys used the sides of an empty tissue box.
- If you're working on this craft with a younger child, you may need to cut it out for them.
- You can totally be creative here with the shape of your popsicle, too!
- Start at the top of the popsicle and work your way down. Glue one end of a piece of yarn to the top of the cardboard cut out. Wrap the yarn as far down as you'd like.
- Glue the end of the first color to the cardboard. Then, switch to the next color. Continue wrapping and changing colors as often as you'd like until you get to the bottom of the cardboard.
- Finally, slip the wood craft stick between the yarn and the cardboard. Separate the yarn a bit and glue the wood craft stick in place.
