Finding a Foreign Language Curriculum
I find it interesting how homeschooling presents different challenges as my boys grow up.
When my boys were younger, I stressed about how I'd capture their attention, teach them basic skills, and homeschool multiple ages without losing my mind. I want to emphasize that Mas Spanish teaches your student – the parent doesn’t need to have knowledge of or learn the language. Mas Spanish involves very little parental involvement which is perfect if you have a busy schedule or are homeschooling other kids.

Our Experiences with This Spanish Homeschool Curriculum
Smiley (my middle boy) and I were impressed with how quickly he could get started with his lessons. The program is easy-to-use and navigate.
He had tried some free trials of immersive foreign language courses and felt overwhelmed. Smiley said it felt like nothing was sticking with those programs. After his first video lesson with Mas Spanish, Smiley was grinning from ear to ear. He said, "It finally feels like I can learn Spanish! Ms. Katie makes it so easy to remember all of it."
Smiley appreciates that the video lessons aren't that long and that there's plenty of review to reinforce what he's learned. Also, he really likes the fact that he can go back and rewatch any of the lessons if he needs a refresher.
From a busy homeschool teacher perspective who has zero background in Spanish (I took French in high school), I greatly appreciate that Smiley can do his lessons without me. Also, I LOVE the answer keys that make it so easy to grade his work!
Oh, and I got a big kick out of overhearing Smiley teaching his younger brothers what he's learned from his Mas Spanish lessons. When he starts chatting up a high school class, I know that he's enjoying it and learning!
