Of course, I love to add new and easy ways to celebrate the holiday with my boys. New activities make the whole celebration so much more exciting.
My boys are really into perler bead activites (also known as Hama beads, melty beads, and fuse beads). I knew that I wanted to add more Halloween perler bead patterns to our collection.
This free printable perler bead template featuring a cute ghost and friend is sure to be a hit with my boys. I love that we can use it for decor and more. Some different ways to use these hands-on Halloween crafts are:

This free printable Halloween perler bead pattern features a ghost and jack o'lantern. There is one pattern on one page.
I recommend printing the template on white cardstock.
Also, you'll need a fuse bead board size 29x29 to be used with 5mm beads.
How to Make This Halloween-Themed Perler Bead Craft
These tips, tricks, and simple instructions) make it easy to you enjoy your perler bead art time with kids as you make this little ghost.
I suggest that you have ALL of your supplies ready and organized before your begin your craft time for perler bead creations.
I purchased a big canister of perler beads and perler bead pegboards that attach (which you'll probably need for a large pattern like this cute ghost and jack o'lantern). Also, I got a plastic craft organizer to be able to sort the perler beads by colors.
Some kids like to use perler beads tweezer tools. These types of tools are completely optional. My boys prefer to use their fingers for perler bead projects.
When your perler bead creation (on the pegboard) is done, place it on a flat surface.
The perler bead pegboard set that I bought comes with reusable ironing paper. You can also use parchment paper or waxed paper. This paper is placed upon your completed creation prior to ironing.
You'll need an iron to fuse your perler beads. I set the temperature of my iron to a medium heat. When your iron is warm, press firmly on the ironing paper and slowly move around in a circular motion. Take a look at your perler bead creation about every 30 seconds to see how well the beads are melting together.
If you don't have the exact colors, it's no big deal. Use what colors you have and make your Halloween perler bead craft unique 😀 The best results are the ones that your kids make with their own designs.
