Create a Plan to Celebrate Earth Day with Kids

To make sure that learning fun happens with Earth Day activities for kids leading up to and on April 22, I'm coming up with a plan. If I don't have a plan, fun stuff just doesn't happen. Well, at least not the way I'd like it to 😉

Awesome Activities to Celebrate Earth Day with Kids

Go on a nature walk!  My boys and I will be going on a nature walk to celebrate Earth Day. My go-to resource for this activity is Cindy West's 100+ Easy and Fun Creative Nature Walks. Awesome ideas for enjoying this special time with your kids!

Get creative and have fun with chalk pastels!  Our chalk pastel lessons with Nana are a highlight in our homeschool. My boys can't wait to dive into a variety of chalk pastel lessons celebrating Earth and nature in our You ARE An Artist! Clubhouse membership. I encourage you to select only one thing for each category. No need to overwhelm your kids or yourself 😉 Savor the Earth Day activity with your kids. Talk about it and what they think.

If there are a few ideas that just look too good to pass up, schedule them for different days. Or maybe next year. You'll have something to look forward to 🙂

  1. We already do some of the things on the list, but I see where we can be doing more. Children do what they see adults do, so we need to model the best, earth friendly behaviors we can for them.
