This easy Christmas craft calls for only a few materials. Start a stash of empty toilet paper rolls now so you'll have plenty to use for making extra TP roll trees!
If you would prefer to stay away from paint (I totally get it!), I highly recommend using tempera paint sticks, like Kwik Stix.
Have these supplies prepared so you'll be all set for craft fun with kids:
- Toilet Paper Rolls
- Paint (or tempera paint sticks)
- Paintbrush
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Optional: Stickers, pom poms, washi tape, glitter, glitter glue
How to Make This Christmas Tree Toilet Paper Roll Craft

Prepare toilet paper rolls
Squash the toilet paper rolls flat.
Draw a Christmas tree shape, leaving a flat base at the bottom.

Cut out trees
Cut out the tree shape, cutting through both sides.

Paint trees
Paint the tree section green. Or paint it a different color if you'd like it to have a unique look!

Add decorations
Using a small brush or a q-tip, dot ornaments in various colors.
If you'd like, use additional items to decorate - like pom poms, sequins, stickers, or other materials.
