Oh, and another great thing about crafts...you don't have to spend a ton of money! There are a bunch of practical and frugal supplies that can be used for DIY time. Toilet paper (or paper towel) tubes, tissue paper, popsicle sticks, and perler beads can either be recycled or cheaply purchased. And paper plates are top of my list!
