Do you have kids who love Minecraft? Or maybe you're looking for easy and creative ways to make reading fun?

These printable Minecraft coloring bookmarks are super cool ways to get your students excited about reading AND enjoy some creative activities.

My boys have played Minecraft for quite some time. My oldest started playing it about 10 years ago (2014). Some of his soccer friends told him what Minecraft is and introduced him to the video game. He quickly took a liking to it!

His younger brothers became interested in Minecraft at different times over the years. We've accumulated quite a collection of Minecraft books, T-shirts, and other Minecraft-themed items - many of which you can find in our list of Minecraft gift ideas.

The boys and I have had so much fun with our Minecraft printable activities, like Minecraft color by letter pages, Minecraft color by number pages, and Minecraft connect the dots.

Since our Pokemon bookmarks to color were such a big hit in making reading time fun, I wanted to add these Minecraft coloring bookmarks to our collection!

This printable Minecraft bookmarks come in a set and have eight styles on two printable (PDF) pages (four bookmarks per page). All of the bookmarks are made to be colored and are in black-and-white.

Each bookmark features these Minecraft characters and themes:

• Enderman and Wolf
• Sheep

Ideas for Making and Sharing These Bookmarks

Wondering if your students will think that bookmarks are boring? No worries! Take these coloring bookmarks to the next level with a few of my ideas and tips:

• Use white cardstock to print these bookmarks for increased durability. Also, you can laminate the bookmarks after your child is done coloring and customizing.
• Another way to reinforce is to glue the bookmarks on cardstock (and leave room for a colorful border).
• Offer different coloring tools, like crayons, fine-tip markers, and color pencils. My boys and I enjoy mixing-and-matching to get different textures.
• Strengthen the bookmarks by putting washi tape on the backs. This step reinforces the bookmark - plus, it's a great way to add a fun pattern or texture. You can also use painter's tape if you prefer.
• Use a hole punch at the top of the bookmark and add ribbon, yarn, or twine. It's an easy way to add a special touch to your bookmark.
