These hands-on activities are super cool ways to get kids engaged in crafts.
My younger boys have a blast crafting with perler beads. They use these small plastic beads (also called fuse beads or Hama beads) to make all sorts of cute creatures, critters, and characters.
I love how they turn these DIY crafts into little toys, keychains, and decor. These crafts are inexpensive and can really brighten your day 😊
Since my boy have enjoyed our other perler bead pattern packs (like Pokemon, Minecraft, Super Mario, Earth Day, and Soccer), I thought a set with another theme of something they like would be fun - fast food 🍔 🍟 🌭

These patterns were designed to be made on a hexagon board 31 peg diameter with 5mm beads. No worries if you don't have that exact recommendation - my boys were able to easily use on the square boards that we have 😊

How to Make These Fast Food-Themed Perler Bead Crafts
Perler bead craft time with kids can be sensational fun when you use these tips and tricks. You'll soon see that it makes it much easier to create all of these cool crafts.
I suggest that you have ALL of your supplies ready and organized.
I got a big canister of perler beads and perler bead peg boards that attach (just in case the boys want to make larger fuse bead crafts). And I bought a plastic craft organizer so the boys could sort the perler beads by colors. Oh, and this perler beads kit looks excellent and comes with everything!
Some kids like to work with perler beads tweezer tools. These tools are completely optional - in fact, my boys like to use their fingers.
When the perler bead craft is done on the pegboard, place it on a flat surface.
The perler bead pegboards that I purchased includes reusable ironing paper. I've found that you can also use parchment paper or waxed paper. This type of paper is put on top of your completed creation prior to fusing.
You need an iron to fuse your perler beads. I set the temperature of my iron to a medium heat. When your iron is ready, press firmly on the ironing paper and slowly move around. I sneak a peek at the perler bead creation about every 30 seconds to see how well the beads are melting together.
When using this pack of fast food perler bead patterns, I suggest looking at each item with your child and have them pick out a favorite one to try for their first craft.
If you don't have the exact colors, don't worry. Use thet colors you have and enjoy your special designs. In fact, you can easily customize these fast food crafts!
And if you find a better production process for your craft time, go for it!
Fun Ideas for Enjoying Crafts Featuring Fast Food Perler Beads

An incredible idea is to start a collection of perler bead crafts. My boys put their crafts in their bedrooms, as well as decorate our homeschool shelves and bookcases with them. They have a growing collection at this point and it looks amazing.
Psst! Another idea is to leave room at the top of your perler bead craft in the shape of a circle or square. You can add a ribbon, string, yarn, key chain ring, or loose binder ring. Your kids can use this type of craft for a charm, key chains, decorate party gift bags (great gift tags!), and party favors.
These perler bead creations would be super cute gifts or random acts of kindness.
