Wonderful Pumpkin Printables to Celebrate Fall!
WooHoo! Fall is almost here!
Time for yummy smells like pumpkin spice and cinnamon. The air turns crisp (well, at least where we live in the Northeast) and sweaters and jeans are brought out. And it’s time for PUMPKINS!
I love incorporating seasonal themes and fun holidays into our homeschool learning adventures. In the Fall, there are so many ways to have pumpkin-themed learning fun. Pumpkin Day (October 26) is so cool to celebrate. Just think of all the ways you can use these colorful gourds with your kids!
Over the years, the boys and I have have enjoyed awesome adventures at the pumpkin patch. We love hand-picking pumpkins to bring home and decorate or carve as a family.
To help get our homeschool ready for these activities with pumpkins, I created this free printable pack. My younger boys enjoy using these types of activities during our homeschool morning gathering time.
I find that it keeps their little hands busy and gets their creative juices flowing. Plus, they are able to focus better when they have a hands-on activity to do while listening.

This Free Printable Pack Of Learning Fun With Pumpkins has been a hit with my boys! It includes 10 printable pages for:
- tracing or scissors skills practice (just cut along the dotted line)
- storytime song & craft (5 Little Pumpkins – cut out the 5 pumpkins and glue to wood craft sticks – fanastic for hands-on activities!)
- coloring pages featuring pumpkins with different patterns and shapes
- color by shape
- color by number
- handwriting practice (dotted lines for tracing to develop eye-hand coordination)
One of the fun activities that I have planned for the boys with these Learning Fun With Pumpkins pages is a coloring contest.
Each boy will select a pumpkin to color. They’ll be instructed to do their very best job. All colorful pumpkins will be hung and admired. Awards will be given in five categories: Most Colorful, Most Traditional, Best Design, Most Creative, and Best Background.
And, of course, I’ll jump into the fun because I LOVE coloring!
