There are so many cool things to do with a pencil for frugal fun with kids at home!

Pencils Are Incredible for Frugal Fun with Kids
These utensils have so much potential for exciting learning fun, boredom busters, and, of course, writing.
My boys and I have quite a collection of traditional pencils in a variety of fun themes and colors. We also have mechanical pencils that are nice for on-the-go learning (no fun having a pencil point break when you're trying to get homeschool work done while traveling to a soccer tournament!).
Oh, and of course, color pencils are AH-AMAZING!
But, traditional pencils are our top choices 😉
As I collect ideas for frugal fun with kids, my first step is to do an inventory of what supplies we already have. I'm really trying to reduce how frequently I go shopping. When I do go out, my cart is overflowing with essentials so it makes sense to use what we have.
When I saw part of our collection of fun pencils, I knew that I needed to make a list of all the fun things to do with pencils. These ideas are going to be huge hits with the boys (and I hope your kids, too!).
