Creative Ways to Learn About the Earth’s Layers
One of the best things I get to experience as a homeschool mom is to hear my boys ask to learn more about a topic.
When my boys show that type of interest, I know that we’ve stumbled upon something special. It means that their curiosity is piqued plus they’ve been paying attention to what we’ve been learning about!
At our end of year homeschool review, my two younger boys and I chatted about some of their favorite memories. I knew they love science but wasn’t expecting them to include our layers of the earth activities.
As I prepared for our upcoming homeschool year, I decided that we’d revisit this topic and take our layers of the earth fun to the next level. The boys have had a blast with our new 3D diorama kits (life cycle of an apple, life cycle of pumpkin, and life cycle of a butterfly) so I knew another hands-on activity would rock.
