You can have so much holiday fun with your kids on Thanksgiving! My 5 boys and I have so many happy memories from our cherished times shared together.
It’s a wonderful time to pause and give thanks for all of your blessings. Plus, it’s an fantastic time of year to spend time with loved ones.
So, how do you slow down and enjoy this special time when there’s so much to do? Like all that cooking, baking, cleaning, and decorating!
Enjoy an easy activity that’s designed to help you slow down and make observations on all that’s around you 😊

Since our other printable holiday scavenger hunts (like Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween, Christmas Lights, Christmas Tree) were so much fun with my boys, I knew that Thanksgiving version would be a cool addition to our holiday fun collection.

Cool Ways to Enjoy This Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt
Your kids, tweens, teens, adults – anyone who wants to have holiday fun – will color in the objects when seen or found with this printable (PDF) scavenger hunt with Thanksgiving themes.
To make it easy for your kids to enjoy, I think it’s a great idea to have a variety of coloring tools to pick from, like crayons, color pencils, and fine-tip markers.
My boys and I really like this type of clipboard with storage area that opens on the side (not the bottom because your coloring materials can fall out too easily that way!) works well when we’re having fun or learning on-the-go.
If it would be too difficult to color in the prompts when you’re out-and-about, that’s okay! Simply make a pencil mark next to the object and color it in later 😉
Also, I recommend printing this Thanksgiving scavenger hunt on white cardstock. Regular printer paper will work fine. My boys, however, get excited when doing this type of activity and have a tendency to accidentally rip the paper. Are your kids like that, too?
If you’d like to use this printable scavenger hunt again and again, you can laminate it or place in a dry erase sleeve and use dry erase markers.
